The Indigo Archive T-Shirt draws from the historic dyeing traditions of Kofar Mata in Kano, one of the oldest indigo dye pits in Africa. For centuries, this space has been a site of craftsmanship, patience, and cultural memory; where cloth is transformed through time, technique, and human touch.
The front reads “authenticated by truth”, a statement of our commitment to transparency, to origin, and to telling stories as they are.
At the back, an artistic rendition of the Kofar Mata dye pits captures the rhythm of this process: artisans at work, indigo in motion, history carried through cloth.
